Gerne h\u00e4tte ich Ihnen auf diesem Weg eine Auswahl meiner neuesten Kreationen vorgestellt, leider sitzen diese nun aber in Italien fest. Momentan ist an eine Spedition nicht zu denken und auch nicht an das allj\u00e4hrliche Fr\u00fchlings-Open House in meinem Atelier in Meilen.<\/p>\n<p>Trotzdem, Kunst soll und kann unser Leben auch in diesen Zeiten mit einer wichtigen Botschaft erreichen und bereichern: Die uns j\u00e4h aufgezwungene Entschleunigung und der Stillstand sind auch eine Chance, uns wieder vermehrt auf die Grundwerte des Lebens und unserer Gesellschaft zur\u00fcckzubesinnen. Innehalten, verschnaufen, durchatmen, aufschauen, den Horizont \u00f6ffnen, die Oberfl\u00e4che durchdringen und wieder einmal einen Tauchgang durch die Tiefgr\u00fcnde unseres Lebens machen. Die aktuelle Situation versetzt der Oberfl\u00e4chlichkeit und Schnelllebigkeit unserer Zeit eine ziemliche Ohrfeige. F\u00fcr viele von uns bedeutet das Zeit, viel Zeit f\u00fcr anderes. Eine wohltuende bis gespenstische Ruhe ersetzen den frenetischen Alltag. Dankbar strecken wir unser Gesicht der w\u00e4rmenden Sonne entgegen und vernehmen das beruhigende Zwitschern der V\u00f6gel. K\u00f6rper und Geist und unsere viel strapazierte Welt k\u00f6nnen endlich ausruhen und sich regenerieren. Es ist Zeit, Dinge zu \u00fcberdenken, allt\u00e4gliche Strukturen umzuordnen, Fragen zu stellen, andere \u00a0Blickwinkel einzunehmen.<\/p>\n<p>Kunst soll uns in diesen Tagen mehr denn je erheitern und unterst\u00fctzen, sich selbst und die ausserordentliche Situation auszuhalten. Kunst soll nicht nur Kritik \u00fcben und provozieren, sondern vor allem auch Balsam f\u00fcr die Seele sein, verl\u00e4ssliche Ankerpunkte im Alltag. Gerade Skulpturen sind Felsen in der Brandung, \u00a0Ruhepole im Sturm, Findlinge, die gute und schlechte Zeiten \u00fcberdauern. Erdgebunden, zeitlos, best\u00e4ndig. Sie sollen gerade in dieser aussergew\u00f6hnlichen Zeit Kraft und Hoffnung geben, Freude machen, Frieden schenken, Sch\u00f6nheit f\u00fcr Geist und Seele sein und zum Tr\u00e4umen anregen.<\/p>\n<p>Ich w\u00fcnsche Ihnen allen viel Ausdauer und Kraft, gute Gesundheit und eine Portion Heiterkeit, damit wir mit der neugewonnenen n\u00f6tigen Umsicht sobald als m\u00f6glich wieder in die Normalit\u00e4t zur\u00fcckkehren k\u00f6nnen!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">****************************<\/p>\n<p>As most of us are stuck at home, heavily affected by the shutdown, I would like to send you all at least a sign of life and hope. How much would I have liked to show you my newest creations, but they are stuck in Italy. At the moment, we can\u2019t even think about a shipment or my annual springtime open house at my studio in Meilen\/Zurich.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, art shall reach us especially in these tough times with an important message: The slowdown that we are facing now so unexpectedly, even the total standstill bear a chance to remember the core values of life and society. We are gently forced to pause, to breathe, to look up and widen our horizons, to abandon the surface and take a deep dive into the most hidden aspects of ourselves and our life.<\/p>\n<p>The actual situation is quite a slap in the face of the superficiality and fugacity\u00a0that so relentlessly shape today\u2019s life. A lot of us suddenly face abundance of time \u2013 time for so many different things. Silence \u2013 sometimes pleasant, sometimes spooky \u2013 replaces our frenetic everyday life. Gratefully, we turn our faces to the warming sun and listen to the soothing chirp of the birds. Body and soul and thanks god also our strained planet finally have time to rest and regenerate. It is time to re-think many things, to re-arrange daily structures and change routines, to ask questions and take different points of view.<\/p>\n<p>Art more than ever should exhilarate and support us in these days, so that we are able to endure this extraordinary situation \u2013 and ourselves in it. Art should not just criticize, shock or disgust us \u2013 it\u00a0should send us positive vibes, now more than ever.\u00a0Sculptures are solid rocks in troubled waters, islands of tranquility and peace, boulders that outlast good and bad times. Earthbound, timeless, enduring. They are here to give us strength and hope, to bring us joy, flatter our souls and stimulate our dreams.<\/p>\n<p>I wish you all strength and patience, good health and a little bit of cheerfulness to get through this and to return back to our dear lives as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">****************************<\/p>\n<p>Ad un tratto la quotidianit\u00e0 normale non esiste pi\u00f9. La vita \u00e8 cambiata per tutti, tutti siamo rinchiusi in casa, pi\u00f9 o meno fermi, e tutti quanti siamo colpiti di questo shutdown totale. Per cui vorrei mandarvi un segno di vita e un pensiero caloroso tramite una selezione di immagini di opere mie istallate in spazi aperti.<\/p>\n<p>Per fortuna l\u2019arte pu\u00f2 e deve raggiungerci e arricchirci anche ora, e trasmettere un messaggio importante: la decelerazione imposta e l\u2019arresto totale della vita normale \u00e8 anche un\u2019occasione per ricordarci dei valori di base della vita e della nostra societ\u00e0. Fermiamoci un\u2019attimo, respiriamo lentamente e profondamente, alziamo gli occhi al cielo, allarghiamo i propri \u00a0orizzonti! \u00a0Lasciamo la superficie e facciamoci un viaggio all\u2019interno profondo di noi stessi e della vita, alla scoperta dello sconosciuto che ci ha fatto comodo a non conoscere.<\/p>\n<p>La situazione attuale \u00e8 uno schiaffo alla superficialit\u00e0, alla frenesia e al menefreghismo dei nostri tempi. Ora c&#8217;\u00e8 il silenzio, un silenzio benefico, un silenzio che alle volte fa paura. Per tanti di noi questo significa ritrovare tempo, il tempo che non c\u2019era pi\u00f9. Che goduria poter sentire il primo sole primaverile che scalda il nostro viso e sentire il canto tranquillizzante degli uccelli! Che piacere non sentire pi\u00f9 urli ad alta voce o il rumore del traffico intenso! Finalmente si possono riposare corpo e spirito, la terra e il mare, il nostro mondo strapazzato. \u00c8 l&#8217;ora di riflettere e di farsi delle domande. \u00c8 il momento di cambiare il proprio punto di vista e i propri abitudini. \u00c8 l\u2019ora di cambiare il mondo.<\/p>\n<p>Oggi, pi\u00f9 che mai abbiamo bisogna di arte, non solo critica ma positiva, arte che tocca l\u2019anima e che ci fa sognare, aiutandoci a sopportare noi stessi e la situazione straordinaria attuale. Sculture sono solide come delle rocce, sculture sono isole di pace nella battaglia quotidiana, isole di calma nella tempesta che resistono al tempo. Terrestre, fuori dal tempo, eterne. Mi auguro che possono aiutare a farci forza, a darci speranza e portarci pace e gioia.<\/p>\n<p>In questo senso vi auguro di cuore la forza necessaria di resistere, buona salute e una bella porzione di spirito per stare sereni e tranquilli, in modo di poter ritornare alla normalit\u00e0 al pi\u00f9 presto, con rispetto e la cautela necessaria.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
