4th January 2022
The twelfth rough night has the energy of December, which we just left behind – the cycle is complete. December is the darkest month of the year, and – at the same time – it is the month when we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We celebrate the winter solstice and are once more at the beginning of our journey together. We celebrate the rebirth of the light and days are getting longer again. Everything starts anew - the cycle of life.
Exercise
Imagine again and again how you step from darkness into light. What kind of light is it? How does it feel to step into the light?
Also, imagine how you let your own light shine.
The rough nights help us to practice transitions as we undergo them time and again in our private and business lives. The more often we experience transitions consciously and concentrate on the essential things while doing so the more active can we shape our life and our success.
The rough nights mark the beginning of a new time and the last night is a very magical night. The perfect point in time to find out what our purpose of life is, and what our life-task is. Both are ultimately connected. Let’s trust our ability to listen to our heart and our gut-instinct. We have practice it already a few times in some of the previous rough nights. Let’s ignore our mind once more.
We often look for our meaning on the outside. We all want love, happiness, wealth, and abundance. However, in the end we’ll never find any of it on the outside, or rather, whatever we are going to find outside will never satisfy our needs completely, and we will always need more and more input from the outside. But where to get it from?
No worries, you have everything you need already inside you. Stop looking on the outside, turn inward once more and answer the following questions:
Naturally, finding our purpose in life and your life-task is the ultimate start into our effortless success. It is literally our calling; here we cannot help but being successful.
However, just relax if you cannot uncover your purpose of life this very moment, or discover your life-task immediately, or if you cannot describe it into detail right now. You have taken the first step and are on your way already. Just accept that you do not know everything yet, keep an open mind and stay curious. I am sure you know everything already. Maybe you are just nor ready yet to admit it to yourself. Be patient with yourself and turn inside yourself again and again.
It is often enough to realise that everything happens for a reason and all is well the way it is right now. We just need the faith that all will develop in a way that is exactly right for us and in the right time. Like in nature everything in life develops in our own time and there is a time for everything.
Although, contemplation is important and I would like to advise you to do it regularly, it is just as important to make experiences consciously on the outside in order to grow. And this leads us to the next step of our twelfth rough night.
Listening inside ourselves, we can realise in which areas of our life we want to further develop, learn, and grow. While doing so always remember that you are enough the way you are right now, you are wonderful, unique, and worthy. Do not compare yourself with others, do not assess – or even worse – judge yourself. Stand by yourself and have your own back.
Exercise
Be courageous, gather experiences by getting out of your comfort zone. What could it be? Do it regularly it strengthens your self-worth.
It could be calling a company you always wanted to work for, talking to someone you don’t know, go for a walk alone, give a speech or a presentation, tell family or friends something about your fears, etc.
Tomorrow, we are going to review the rough nights.
Until then, be well,
Yours,
Sibylle
